Cabane B
The small art space Cabane B invited designer Valentin Sieber and myself to develop furniture for its temporary exhibition space. Conceived during a three-day workshop and produced in collaboration with the team of the neighborhood’s participatory workshop, the project emerged through a collective process of experimentation and fabrication.
Working with simple wooden frames and rope, we developed a series of open structures designed to support woven seats. The act of weaving – repetitive, manual, and collaborative – became central to the project, gradually transforming skeletal frames into functional surfaces. Rather than predetermined objects, the structures operate as adaptable supports whose final form is defined by the tension, rhythm, and density of the rope.
