Woven archives
Commissioned for the reopening of the Centre Culturel Suisse in Paris, this limited-edition set of woven jacquard kitchen towels marks a new beginning through memory and domestic ritual.
Developed from the Centre’s archives, two images from Les Héritier·x by Marion Zurbach and Titre provisoire by Lili Parson were reworked and woven into textiles by the last Belgian manufactory specializing in jacquard kitchen towels, bringing archival material into everyday use.
Referencing the tradition of offering household linens to celebrate a new home, the towels evoke hospitality and prosperity, transforming collective memory into a domestic object.
Limited edition of 250 sets, available at the Centre Culturel Suisse bookshop in Paris.
